Strategies and major new initatives

Reinforce Hong Kong’s position as the bridgehead for the mainland’s outward investment ventures

Partner with MOFCOM and provincial governments to organise three outward investment missions to developed economies targeting investment opportunities in manufacturing and environmental technologies as well as consumer brands

Organise a series of seminars in mainland’s major business cities to promote the Hong Kong service platform and connect Hong Kong service providers with mainland enterprises seeking to acquire technologies or brands overseas

Explore collaboration with associations of mainland investors set up by provincial governments

Establish the Deal Flow at the Asian Financial Forum as the annual anchor platform to connect mainland investors with technology or brand owners

Position HKTDC’s mainland outward investment portal as the main reference point for mainland investors, Hong Kong service providers and overseas project owners
