Nurture an international entrepreneurial ecosystem for Hong Kong in the digital era

Empower SMEs and entrepreneurs to go global and to ride the wave of digitalisation

  • Build a “T-box Community” and organise regular networking events between the graduates and current members for cross-inspiration

  • Broaden the advisor network for T-box working with partners in Hong Kong as well as internationally

  • Set up a T-box GBA Centre at our Shenzhen Office to serve as a first stop for HK SMEs entering the GBA

  • Launch “E-tailing Academy” to nurture Hong Kong SMEs in e- commerce applications

Accentuate Hong Kong’s profile in the start-up world

  • Collaborate with experienced local and overseas accelerators backed by corporates to recruit quality tech start-ups to scale up Startup Zones at our trade events

  • Recruit investors, business angels, venture capitalists across Asia and Hong Kong listed companies interested in start-up ventures to explore investment and partnership opportunities with Startup Zones’ participants

  • Introduce an Emerging Times zone for start-ups in Watch and Clock Fair

  • Launch a new interactive workshop, titled Roundtables, at the Startup Zone of Hong Kong Electronics Fair

  • Launch “IPHatchathon” to groom the start-up community

  • Enrich the logistics technology solutions showcased at ALMAC through working with accelerators in Hong Kong and overseas to showcase quality start-ups in the field

  • Expand the FintechHK Start-up Salon for worldwide fintech start-ups to showcase their next-generation business ideas at the AFF

  • Launch “T-chat” at Entrepreneur Day focusing on global trends and business transformation

  • Launch Enterprise Connect “World Series”

  • Feature Hong Kong Start-up Express winners in international pitching competitions

  • Launch Start-up Express Master League

  • Organise Start-up Bootcamps to prepare Hong Kong start-ups for international markets
