Logistics was awarded the main prize in Export Marketing by the Hong Kong Coalition
of Service Industries in December. The prize was presented by HKSAR Financial
Secretary Antony Leung during the 2001 Awards Presentation Gala Dinner.|
awards were initiated by the Hong Kong Coalition of Service Industries in 1997
to reflect the continuously increasing importance of export services, with the
main objective being to recognise excellence in export marketing. The awards are
supported by the government's Financial Services Bureau and the Industry Department,
while the Hong Kong Trade Development Council, Hong Kong Productivity Council
and the Hong Kong Retail Management Association participate in the ballot.
Logistics Hong Kong commenced operation in 1978 as a consolidator and following
the industry's rapid development, the company has grown into an integrated logistics
service provider, with four core business units-Supply Chain Management, Airfreight,
International Forwarding and Warehousing & Distribution.
