Standard - the Restriction of Hazardous Substances in PVC
Artificial Leather
PVC artificial leather
are mainly used in automotive interior, construction and decoration,
soft furniture, clothing, medical equipment, household appliances
and other fields which are closely related to the daily life.
In order to limit the content of hazardous substances in PVC
artificial leather, improve the living environment and protect
human health, China General Administration of Quality Supervision,
Inspection and Quarantine (AQSIQ) issued standard GB 21550-2008
Restriction of Hazardous Substances in PVC Artificial Leather
on March 24, 2008, and requires that after six months of implementation,
the products which can not meet the requirements shall be
banned from selling in the market. The Standard will become
effective on March 1, 2009.
