Hong Kong members include business leaders from manufacturing, trading and services companies with business interests in Europe, while European members are senior business leaders with strong business interests in Hong Kong and elsewhere in Asia.
The Hong Kong Trade Development Council (HKTDC) acts as the secretariat to the Business Council and provides full financial support to the annual meetings, which take place in Hong Kong and Europe alternately. Members of the Business Council pay for their own travel and accommodation costs.
