With the economic landscape currently evolving rapidly, navigating the emerging global trade and supply chain landscape is a priority for every business. In a bid to help SMEs ready themselves for the new trade realities, this seminar will explore both the challenges and opportunities that lie ahead, detailing the factors reshaping supply chains while highlighting Hong Kong's strategic role as a bridge for any international business looking to bolster its trade with the Chinese Mainland and the wider Asian markets.

Led by Irina Fan, HKTDC's Research Director, the seminar will include a presentation by Sean Randolph, Senior Director of the US Bay Area Council Economic Institute and Chang Ka Mun, Managing Director of Li & Fung Development (China).

In the case of Sean Randolph, he will be sharing his extensive experience in and nuanced understanding of global supply chain dynamics, while being almost uniquely qualified to highlight Hong Kong's singular role within the regional trading framework. Chang Ka Mun's primary areas of research, meanwhile, have included a focus on global supply chain development and management, the commercial economies of the Chinese Mainland and Asia, as well as a number of regional development strategies, areas of expertise he will be sharing as part of his own presentation. Overall, seminar participants are sure to gain essential insights into how best to leverage the city's advantages as they look to navigate geopolitical tensions and seize the many emerging opportunities now on offer throughout Asia.
