Hong Kong Forum Side Trip to Shenzhen

The Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area (Greater Bay Area) comprises the two Special Administrative Regions of Hong Kong and Macao, and the nine cities including Shenzhen. |
The Greater Bay Area is the key strategic blueprint in Mainland China's development, having great significance in the country's implementation of innovation-driven development and commitment to reform and opening-up. |
According to the Outline Development Plan for the Greater Bay Area, Shenzhen serves as the engines for regional development. |
Shenzhen is expected to make use of its leading role as a special economic zone, a national economic core city, and a national innovation city. |
It aims to expedite its transformation into a modern and international city, become a capital of innovation and creativity with global influence, and pursue the development of the "Guangzhou Shenzhen Hong Kong Macao" innovation and technology corridor. |

| • | Visits to “Qianhai Shenzhen-Hong Kong Modern Service Industry Cooperation Zone” and “Shenzhen-Hong Kong Innovation and Technology Co-operation Zone” to understand the closer collaboration between Hong Kong and Shenzhen |
