Mainland China has begun using a simplified health declaration code, commonly known as the “black code”, for cross-border entries and exits.

A new guidebook details Guangdong’s business environment, key industries, investment policies and incentives to help facilitate foreign investment in the province.

The ceiling for guaranteed loans for start-ups has been raised while loan conditions for micro and small enterprises have been relaxed to help boost entrepreneurship in the mainland.

Guangdong has announced a slew of measures to enhance the efficiency of customs clearance in a bid to facilitate cross-border trade.

HK continues to rank among top in Global Innovation Index

The Shenzhen-Hong Kong-Guangzhou science and technology cluster continues to be ranked second globally for the fourth consecutive year, while Hong Kong’s ranking remains fifth in Asia in the Global Innovation Index 2023 published by the World Intellectual Property Organization.
