Shenzhen and Zhongshan will set up the GBA’s first trans-city economic cooperation zone, located in Cuiheng New District and the Torch High-tech Industrial Development Zone in Zhongshan.

Hong Kong and Mainland China have signed a memorandum that will facilitate the safe flow of cross-boundary data within the GBA, resulting in lower compliance costs for enterprises.

Nansha has issued a list of recognised overseas professional qualifications that will support the employment and entrepreneurship of overseas talent in the district.

Provincial authorities in Guangdong have revised the individual income tax incentive policy for the GBA to set a subsidy ceiling for overseas talent working in nine cities.
