The new Shenzhen-Zhongshan Link, a 24km sea crossing connecting the cities of Shenzhen and Zhongshan, is expected to open to traffic next year.

Shenzhen has proposed strengthening cooperation with neighbouring cities, including Hong Kong, with a plan to build an intelligent computing hub for the Greater Bay Area.

New measures have been introduced to protect personal information rights and interests and regulate cross-border activities related to personal information.

Guangzhou has become the first mainland city to introduce face identification technology for processing the housing provident funds of Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan personnel.
