Shenzhen will implement a series of measures to support the development of industries related to biomedicine, high-end medical devices and big health. Funding will be provided for enterprises and projects engaged in these industries.

In an effort to promote stable economic growth, Shenzhen will provide financial support for its enterprises and citizens. In the second half of the year, enterprises can receive a 2% interest subsidy, up to an amount of Rmb200,000, for their first loan.

Zhongshan has launched a number of capital incentives to promote the development of small and micro enterprises. The amount of capital incentives available is up to Rmb5 million.

The first 24-hour self-service point in Nansha, Guangzhou has officially launched at the Innovation Bay, helping young people from Hong Kong and Macao to access range of business services.

Guangdong-Hong Kong trade soars

Guangdong Province’s foreign trade volume with Hong Kong grew at an average year-on-year 6.1% over the previous 25 years. The import and export volume between the two regions has significantly increased from Rmb279.85 billion in 1997 to Rmb1.17 trillion in 2021.
