Style Hong Kong, Shanghai 2004 - Grand Lucky Draw for Pre-registered Buyers Grand Lucky Draw Regulations

PURPOSE The purpose of lucky draw is to encourage enterprises to participate in the Style Hong Kong, Shanghai event (the "Sponsor"). ELIGIBILITY The lucky draw is open to all enterprises. Entrants must be 18 years or older. Entrants must also satisfy all the requirements set forth in these Official Rules to be eligible to win the prizes. Participation in this lucky draw is void where prohibited by law or in jurisdictions where sweepstakes or lucky draws are prohibited or subject to registration procedures in which the Sponsor has not complied. The Sponsor, its branch offices and their respective employees are not eligible to participate in or enter the lucky draw. DURATION Entries to the lucky draw will be accepted from June 14, 2004 until midnight on August 31, 2004 (Hong Kong time) (the "Promotion Period"), provided that the Promotion Period may be shortened or extended at the Sponsor's sole discretion. Entries received by the Sponsor before June 14, 2004 or after midnight on August 31, 2004 (Hong Kong time) are void. HOW TO ENTER During the Promotion Period, users of tdctrade.com may enter the lucky draw by logging on to the official web site of Style Hong Kong, Shanghai 2004 at http://stylehongkong.tdctrade.com, and registering for the lucky draw. Entrants are required to complete the online registration form, fill in their personal details and submit the form to HKTDC. Or entrants can fill in the hard copy of the registration form distributed by the Sponsor and fax them to HKTDC. USE OF DATA AND DATA PRIVACY Personal data of the lucky draw entrants will be collected when they enter the lucky draw. Please review our Privacy Statement at http://www.tdctrade.com/privacy/index.htm before registering for the lucky draw. Upon entering the lucky draw, entrants will be deemed to have "opted-in" to receive mailings from the Sponsor and/or its partners. By entering the lucky draw, entrants irrevocably and unconditionally agree that if they are one of the winners of the lucky draw, their names and other information may be used by the Sponsor and/or its advertising and promotion agencies without further notification or compensation. AGREEMENT TO OFFICIAL RULES Participation in the lucky draw constitutes the entrant's irrevocable and unconditional agreement to and acceptance of these Official Rules, the personal information uses and disclaimers as explained in the Privacy Statement and all decisions of the Sponsor in relation to the lucky draw. SELECTION AND NOTIFICATION OF WINNERS The winner of the lucky draw will be determined by a random drawing from among all eligible entries to be conducted on Sept 1, 2004 or such other date as the Sponsor may determine appropriate. The potential winner will be notified by phone or fax at the contact details provided by the entrants within 10 days of the drawing. The Sponsor may require the potential winner to provide proof of identity for collection of the prizes, and to complete and return an affidavit of eligibility and a release of liability and publicity within 14 days of the request, or the prize may be forfeited. If response from a potential winner is not received by the Sponsor within 7 days after the first attempt to contact such potential winner, the prize shall be automatically forfeited and another entrant may be selected by the Sponsor by way of random drawing from the remaining eligible entrants to win the prize in his/her place. PRIZES Grand Prize X 1 : One entry ticket to the 2004 China Grand Prix and 2 night hotel accommodation** in Shanghai ** Duration of hotel accommodation: 27/9 - 29/9 All taxes (including any luxury tax), fees, surcharges and registration and licensing fees or liabilities relating to the prizes are the sole responsibility of the winner. A prize will be forfeited if participation of the relevant winner in this lucky draw is or the lucky draw is otherwise prohibited by law. All prizes are non-transferable. The Sponsor may at any time at its absolute discretion substitute any of the prizes with other prizes of similar value. Unless otherwise agreed between the winners and the Sponsor, all prizes will be sent by courier service to the winner at the addresses provided by the winner. The Sponsor will use reasonable efforts, subject to availability, to deliver the prizes within 14 days after a winner is confirmed. The Sponsor, however, shall not be held responsible for any delay in delivery of the prizes. The winners shall bear all, and the Sponsor shall not be responsible for any, risks of loss or damage to the prizes after they have been delivered by the Sponsor. If the prize is not claimed by the winners within 7 days of the date the prize is delivered to such location, the award shall be forfeited and an alternate winner may be selected by the Sponsor. DISCLAIMER All entrants agree that the Sponsor and its agents, representatives, affiliates and employees shall have no liability whatsoever for any injuries, losses, or damages of any kind which may be suffered by the entrants in relation to the lucky draw, and/or the acceptance, possession, or use of the prizes. The entrants further acknowledges that the Sponsor does not give any warranty, representation, or guarantee express or implied, in fact or in law, relating to any of the prizes, including but not limited to its quality, mechanical condition or fitness for purpose of use. GENERAL The Sponsor may at any time at its absolute discretion cancel, terminate or suspend the lucky draw and/or modify the Official Rules, or disqualify any entrants from participating in the lucky draw, including but not limited to circumstances where the Sponsor considers that fraud, infection by computer virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorized intervention, technical failure, human error or any other causes, affect or may affect the administration, security, fairness, integrity, or proper conduct of the lucky draw. In the event of that the lucky draw is cancelled, notice will be posted at http://stylehongkong.tdctrade.com The Sponsor shall not be held responsible for incorrect or inaccurate entries or entry submitted by the entrants while online, and assumes no responsibility for any error, omission, interruption, deletion, defect, delay in operation or transmission, communications line failure, theft or destruction or unauthorized access to, or alteration of, entries. The Sponsor shall not be held responsible for any problems or technical malfunction of any telephone network or lines, computer online systems, servers, or providers, computer equipment, software, failure of any e-mail or entry to be received by the Sponsor on account of technical problems or traffic congestion on the Internet or at any web site, any combination thereof, or otherwise, including any injury or damage to entrant's or any other person's computer related to or resulting from participation or downloading any materials in the lucky draw. GOVERNING LAW AND JURISDICTION The lucky draw and the Official Rules are governed by the laws of Hong Kong Special Administrative Region of the People's Republic of China ("Hong Kong"). Any controversy or claim arising out of or relating to the lucky draw or these Official Rules shall be exclusively settled by binding arbitration in Hong Kong in accordance with Hong Kong law. Any such controversy or claim shall be arbitrated on an individual basis, and shall not be consolidated in any arbitration with any claim or controversy of any other party.
