Martinair Cargo adds Dallas and Toronto to its US network

Martinair Cargo has expanded its North American network to include Dallas and Toronto, effective October 11, operating a twice-weekly commercial service to Dallas, Texas. Dallas is Martinair Cargo's ninth US destination. The service has been launched in response to the increased demand for main-deck transport from Europe to this destination; the only direct connection between Dallas and Amsterdam also offers great opportunities for high-tech and oil companies based in Texas.

Effective October 11, Martinair also started a twice-weekly service to Toronto for winter. While Toronto already features passenger services in the summer schedule, the sale of belly capacity was previously subcontracted to a broker. Since October, Martinair has resumed responsibility for sales. The Monday flight connects through to Dallas and theThursday flight continues on to Quito in Ecuador.

The recent expansion of Martinair's MD11 fleet presented opportunities to launch additional flights on this route, demonstrating Martinair's ability to respond swiftly to changing market demands.
