The 24th plenary session was concluded with success in New York on 12 June 2013. Chief Executive C Y Leung honoured the occasion by delivering opening remarks at the plenary meeting and Mr Kevin Warsh, Distinguished Visiting Fellow, Hoover Institution, Stanford University; former Governor of the Federal Reserve System, was the morning keynote speaker, giving an update on the latest US economic situation. Mr Ban Ki-moon, United Nations Secretary-General, also shared his vision on sustainability at the luncheon. The twelve Hong Kong and fifteen US members who participated had a fruitful and inspiring dialogue.
