| | | | | China's Ministry of Finance (MOF) and State Administration of Taxation have issued a circular on the increase of VAT rebate rates for export items including textiles, garment, light industrial goods, electronic information products, steel products, non-ferrous metals and petrochemicals from 1 April 2009.
Under the latest round of VAT rate hikes covering items under 3,802 tariff codes, the rate for CRT colour TV will go up to 17%, textiles and garment 16%, metal furniture 13%, and locks 9%.
