How does Multi-distribution model influence the future of Film Industry?

China’s online video platforms have become significant investors in the film and TV production sectors. As with Netflix and Amazon in the US, exclusive content helps to keep viewers coming back again and again.

The range of content they are investing is surprisingly large: from short films to reality TV; and from Chinese art house movies to Hollywood movies.

This seminar will tap into one of China’s largest online video platforms iQIYI and their view of the market and current and future developments; and also explore the correlation between theatrical distribution and digital distribution. The seminar is essential for filmmakers and industry who want to learn the latest in market potential and needs of on-line platforms.
