HONG KONG DAY AT AFM 2010 STRENGHTENS HONG KONG-US COLLABORATION
Organised by the Hong Kong Trade Development Council (HKTDC) in collaboration with the American Film Market (AFM 2010), the inaugural Hong Kong Day at AFM successfully took place on 4 November 2010, featuring a ceremonial ribbon cutting, a press conference, a seminar about the advantages of co-producing in Hong Kong, premieres of Hong Kong films and a cocktail reception. At the press conference, Independent Film & TV Alliance (IFTA) President & CEO Ms Jean Prewitt announced that the Alliance would organise the first US pavilion at FILMART 2011. HKTDC Assistant Executive Director Mr Raymond Yip and AFM Managing Director Mr Jonathan Wolf praised the mutually beneficial Hong Kong-US collaboration.

SUCCESSFUL SEMINAR & RECEPTION
AT TIFFCOM 2010Hong Kong Trade Development Council (HKTDC) and UNIJAPAN co-organised a seminar and a cocktail reception at TIFFCOM to further promote co-production and co-venture opportunities between the two economies. Both events were held on 27 October 2010 at Grand Hyatt Tokyo, Japan. Around 150 guests attended the "Roadmap for Japan-Hong Kong Co-Production" seminar and the cocktail reception "Hong Kong Cinema @ TIFF" attracted over 230 top-notched industry players.
