The Council invites applications for the following positions:

The Hong Kong Trade Development Council ("HKTDC"), the statutory organisation promoting Hong Kong's external trade, seeks high caliber candidates to join our Publications & E-Commerce Department.

Business Executives (Ref. No. (318/BE/TP)

We are seeking self-driven and results-oriented sales associates to sell advertising space for a series of product magazines and the online sourcing platform.

Major responsibilities include:

  • Key account management
  • Extensive sales calls
  • Intensive follow-up with clients to ensure high-quality customer services
  • Achieve sales target

We provide:

  • 5-day week
  • 2-year contract with prospects for renewal upon expiry
  • Basic salary plus attractive commission based on sales achieved

Requirements:

  • Post-secondary educated or above
  • 2 years' experience in direct selling or customer service. Experience in selling print or online advertisement in trade sectors is preferable but not a must
  • Sales driven, self-motivated, customer-oriented, and aggressive to secure business opportunities
  • Mature personality with excellent inter-personal and communication skills
  • Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese
  • Keen to see results, able to achieve sales targets

Responsibilities:

  • To provide logistical & general support for our promotional projects

Requirements:

  • Tertiary education or above
  • Preferably with working experience in project / event organisation / customer service / sales and marketing, or clerical / secretarial / administrative positions
  • Familiar with computer operation and Microsoft Office (Word / Excel / Chinese word-processing)
  • Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese. Putonghua is an advantage
  • Responsible, hardworking and willing to work overtime
  • Must be immediately available
